Rapid increase in the demand for iron in today's technology world and the gradual decrease of ore with the direct loadable feature into blast furnace have necessitated the assessment of low-grade ore. Ores with low iron content and impurities are subjected to ore enrichment processes and brought to appropriate chemical properties and then used after sintered and pelletized. Ores with low iron content and/or impurities are generally subjected to mineral processing and then used after sintering or pelletizing, to increase iron content, reduce impurities and control physical conditions of products. Bentonite used in pelletizing process should have the property of reducing water fluidity, not impair the chemical properties of the concentrate, not cause problems in the high-temperature furnace, not contain undesirable impurities carried to the crude iron to be produced, and should be compatible with the production process, easy to find and cheap.
